Hybrid Cyber Warfare - Isaca Rome, 9 July 2018 Featured

Monte dei Paschi di Siena - Sala Azzurra - Via Salaria 231 - Rome

14:30-17:45

The theme of "hybrid threats" is not new, but in recent years there has been an increasing interest in the study of ways of implementing conflicts by unconventional means and in particular through cyber-war attacks.
The use of hybrid computer techniques is still marginally treated and only lately is the attention of the academic world, industry and the armed forces, each for the parts of competence.
The modalities of implementation, the objectives concerned, the effects and the responses of cyber warfare are all aspects of "hybrid threats" related to both military and civil and industrial spheres.
Threats in the information technology field using unconventional means are aimed at influencing decisions, stealing information, avoiding accountability and infusing insecurity. Many of these threats are in close interaction with the "human" factor, the most sensitive and weakest element for information security.
Speakers on the subject:

Ing. G.G. Zorzino (IsacaRoma e CESMA): “Hybrid Cyber Warfare and doctrine”

Dr. M. Donfrancesco (Leonardo): “Hybrid Cyber Warfare: the NATO view”

Prof I. Corradini (Themis Research Centre): “Human factors in hybrid threats”

Participation in the seminar is free and entitles 4CPE to maintain ISACA certifications.
